The Ministries of FBC Newark First Baptist Church of Newark is a church located in a rural town located just north of Fort Worth, TX. Since we have a small congregation, we are limited as to the number of ministries we can provide. However, those that we do engage we try and do very well. Short descriptions of the ministry opportunities available are listed below. MUSIC Music Minister position is open at this time. If you would like to put in an application please contact the church. Thank you. INFANTS Parents are always encouraged to make use of the nursery services provided during worship times, especially for those infants too young to understand what happens in church. The nursery is provided for the morning service on Sunday, as well as other times arranged for special events (Date Nights, Craft Nights, etc). CHILDREN Our children's program M&Ms (Music and Missions) is for children ages 4 years through 6th grade meets weekly on Wednesday evenings during the school year based on Northwest ISD's approved calendar. Weekly meetings provide an opportunity for the children to participate in activities like singing, fun recreation, learning Bible stories, learning mission service and much more. .
YOUTH
- For Ladies, there are frequent home Bible studies and special events that meet throughout the year. The events include activities such as a Mother and Daughter Banquet, Valentine Brunch and special times of fellowship and snacks. See calendar for time of the Ladies Ministry events - For YOUNG ADULTS, FBC Newark sponsors a game night on Friday night periodically with plenty of food, fun, and fellowship. Watch the church calendar for the dates and times of the next young adult game night.
