FBC Newark is a New Testament Bible believing church. We strive to live by the teachings of God's Holy Word, The Bible. We believe every person is made in God's image and is loved by God. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16
We invite you to make Christ The Lord and Savior of your life. We also invite you to worship God and serve Him with us.
Sunday/Wednesday & Church Overview
Sundays: Sunday School @ 9:45 AM, Worship Services @ 11:00 AM and 6 PM. On Sunday mornings during worship pre-school children are welcome to attend Wee Worship and Celebration Station for pre-schoolers in our children's ministry wing. This is a place just for them and gauged to meet their needs as they play and also learn about God through songs and activities.
Older children stay in the big church worship time through the music and children's sermon...then they are invited to attend Children's Church for 1st-3rd graders. This is a worship time geared for their age. For babies we also have a nursery available.
Wednesdays: Children's Missions/Music & Activites & Youth @ 6 PM, Prayer Meeting @ 6 PM.
In 2000, First Baptist Church of Newark celebrated its 100 Year Anniversary. While past experiences have shaped who we are today, we strive to keep looking forward to God's exciting future for every believer. We moved to our current location on Father's Day June 18, 2006. Our offices are open each morning 8am - 12noon Monday through Thursday. Weekly worship services are held to lift high the name of Jesus Christ. The Church Van is available for those that may need transportation call 817-489-2932.
